CTARC Seasons Geetings! - Dec '19

As we approach the end of quite an eventful year, we thank all who took part in the CTARC's many and varied activities throughout 2019.

It simply remains to wish all our Cape Town Amateur Radio Centre members, friends and families, compliments of the festive season for 2019!

Stay safe during the holidays;
be careful on the roads...

Our first monthly meeting of 2020 will be held in the clubhouse at 14h00 on Saturday 25 January 2020. Further details will be announced here and on the Sunday morning bulletins.

We look forward to seeing you all in the new year!

CTARC Seasons Greetings! - Dec '17

To all members of the Cape Town Amateur Radio Centre, we wish you all compliments of the festive season and, where applicable, a very Happy Xmas! Enjoy the December holidays and stay safe.

The image on the right, by kind courtesy of FlightRadar24, was created by the pilot of an Airbus A380 (with the advanced foreknowledge, permissions and cooperation of the air traffic controllers!) which took off from Hamburg airport in Germany and flew along a predetermined path for five hours at an altitude of 40000 feet.

More on that event is reported on the Daily Telegraph website [here].

CTARC December Meeting - 24 Dec '16

If we were going to have a December meeting for the Cape Town Amateur Radio Centre, it would be on the fourth Saturday of the month, which would make it Christmas Eve - 24th December.

But we are not. Our last meeting was the End-of-Year function braai on Saturday 26 November 2016, and our next meeting will be on Saturday 28 January.

So all that remains is to wish all our members a very Happy Christmas for 2016 and all good things for the new year of 2017!
